In Project Diva f, You pat the top of her head (although I wasnt aware anywhere else was possible) in a way she likes, and it makes her happier, which makes her affection level for you grow. When the Vocaloids affection level is higher, it presumably unlocks more random events that happen in the Room. Kaito is just about the only one I bother playing with there and now he always happily waves when I come in, and when you leave it idle sometimes other Vocaloids come in and do silly things. (this happens anyway but I assumed that more can happen the higher the level is) Sometimes when you pat their head they want to play rock paper scissors with you too, which is another way of getting 'closer'. Although if you pat their head in a way they don't like it makes them angry and their affection level for you can go down. Basically its just a cute add-on feature; it doesnt really affect the rhythm game in any way although I think you can earn diva points by doing things in the room. |
