I love the ADHD block, but these parodies just aren't doing it for me. I haven't yet seen a really successful American parody of anime and it's disappointing, since I suspect it could be done well if a lot of effort went into it.

Never expected the description to be referencing titles like Mai-Hime, Dear Brother, and Sakura Trick.

The Dexter's Lab episode "Mock 5" completely nailed Speed Racer, to the point where my parents found it really hilarious, but that's more a case of parodying a specific dub of a show, so I don't know that it counts to the same extent.

It's been quite a long time since I've watched Dexter's Lab but I do remember that episode fondly, now that you've mentioned it.

Robot Chicken does it time to time.

Fans do some successful parodies of individual series, but I can't currently remember a great parody of anime in general, despite there being tons of tropes and cliches ripe for parody.

If ADHD keeps parodying anime, maybe one day an anime will parody ADHD

What the f*ck?
Quote: | The latest in a series of anime-inspired videos parodies Cutey Honey, Project A-Ko, and other super-powered shojo anime "in the tradition of Utena, Project A-Ko, Oniisama E..., Sailor Moon, Mai-HiME, Kill la Kill, and Sakura Trick". |

This looks like something Adult Swim would air. Its pretty much a dead on parody. Unfortunately, i didn't think it was very amusing though. FOX will properly can in it soon enough with their attention span.
