I like that new lineup. Particularly Star Wars at 5am. Ahahaha, die, you CGI piece of...
Never mind. Also, that promo is awesome, I can't hardly wait any longer for Space Dandy.
Anyways, my opinions aside, what do you guys think of the new lineup/promo?

Looks like they're starting Shippuden from the beginning. I don't envy anyone having to watch that first super-stretched out arc. God that thing took forever. Thank goodness Neon Alley is far ahead of that. I'll be sticking with their broadcast of the dub.

I'm willing to bet you never bothered to look even 5 seconds past promotional art of the damn show.

It's odd that they are restarting Naruto, since at one episode a week I can't imagine they got too far in the first run. But I've been wanting to try and get back into the series... maybe I can use this opportunity.

Well, maybe my opinion's a bit biased since I was never a Star Wars fan at all, but it's just...dull. And ugly. I could put a blind, deaf five-year-old in a room with a pack of crayons and get something more entertaining.
But if you like Star Wars, that's your opinion. I personally wouldn't mind two uncut Narutos at 5am and Inuyasha at 3am.

Well, I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan. And even I think that The Clone Wars is a piece of shit.

It was either Adult Swim pays to broadcast all of Naruto but not Shippuden or broadcast Shippuden while extending the deal to also air the first 52 episodes of the original series again. I posted links about this in a previous thread.

Again, this sounds like someone that never looked past the promotional art and the character designs and immediately dismissed it for being different from what they're use to. If you're not a fan of Star Wars, then that's fine and you have the right to your opinion. But that's besides the point. Frankly from trying to rewatch this show and even attempting to post thoughts on the show in another forum week-to-week, you don't even need to be a big Star Wars fan to get into this. It's a smart, well written show with recurring themes addressing everyone's philosophy and position in a war, whether you're a soldier a politician, bystander or anything else in between.
And I'm sorry, but between rewatching the show and posting pictures from various episodes of the show, I can confirm the aesthteics are anything BUT ugly! I've never seen computer generated animation other than in Hollywood animated films pushed to such a clear and elaborate extent.

Most fans would disagree heavily with you. Especially with the later seasons and the return of Mal

I guess this is one of those times where the US gets an English dub before Animax Asia does.

I would agree with him. The Clone Wars blows, and was (due to Episode II and Episode III) fated to from its inception. I also think that the CG in this is abhorrent. It at least makes it obvious that this "work" is intended for children but I pity any child who is subjected to this rot.
As for the lineup, I'm a tad concerned that Viz doesn't seem to be taking this seriously. Where is all their new content? Where is their old staple Death Note? Are they saving the bulk of their vast array of content for Neon Alley? Why aren't they showing the new InuYasha at long last?

agreed on the Viz bit, they still have deathnote, that show needs more reruns, at least finish off inuyasha. I guess they dont want to pay AS, they would rather focus on neon alley.

I guess it all depends on opinion; I, although not at first, love the series and, especially, it's last season, which was just quality after quality.
