I need an image from full metal alchemist, can someone help me? Is there a picture or scan out there that has Ed with no arm? He sacrifices his arm for his brother, right? I need a picture of him with no arm if that exists.

[EDIT: Changed your topic title to be more specific. -TK]

I think the only way you can get a picture of that is to take a screenshot of the scene during whatever epside it happens, and then photoshop Ed out of the picture. I Googled around a bit and found nothing.

First, I dont think print screen works on video files, you might want to try that first, though i doubt it works.

Second, I'll assume you own the DVDs Wink , so your first step is to rip the DVD to AVI format to your computer. Next, find a AVI Image Extractor, which basically captures a frame from an AVI file and saves it as a JPEG. iMeXoR i think is one... google it. REsize and you should be set...

Also, Bloodragon, I think you mean edit out Al?.... Lol...

I'm assuming this is what you want to do... If you want more info feel free to ask.

If you have a DVD player on your computer, a lot of those players allow you to capture frames.

It doesn't.

Many players are perfectly capable of taking screenshots of video files in DVD format, so you don't neccesarily have to do that, if he has one that can. I would do it for him right now, but I don't have time. I actually need to leave right now...

If you have that option then go for that, as it is much simpler. I just use VLC for my DVDs when I watch them on my computer, and I don't think VLC has screen capture.

What software does?..

My computer uses PowerDVD.

Of course, I have an eMachine, so unless you do...

Anyway, I'd say just see what DVD program your computer has. If not, there might be an image in the manga.

Sorry about the misinformation, last time I did this was when I was in 8th grade and did this for a teacher who was applying for a Yoga Instructor class. (This was very traumatizing to see what teachers did outside of class...)

Anyway I rented NGE from blockbuster so here's an example with VLC player, which i figured out DID have a SS feature.
which was video-->snapshot. saves under my pictures.

and

don't have VLC? just google it.
Also, Powerdvd is liscenced by many companies, I got my copy from Nero, and another one with my DVD burner.

Anyway just try out VLC first for the snapshots.
