It's a crap edition to the Final Fantasy franchise due to the fact it really had no ties or connections to the FF series. It's nothing like the video games. Though it is a good movie itself, not much characters to actually care about. |

If you expect lot's of action or energetic fight scenes...this isn't for you. It's very moody, dark yet a very well told story. I don't think I can think of one thing wrong with this film, it may be a bit gloomy but don't let that put you off. |

Yeah I saw this from the "uncut" version collection of the OAVs I got my hands on. Seriously watch this if you're a Go Nagai fan. I'm a fan but didn't like it. I don't mind over the top violence and action in films where the plot is weak yet at the same time it's fun...but this wasn't fun. The violence was ridiculous and I hate the fact they made sure they didn't make it canon to Devilman, but then again even if they did it'd still suck because of the way they delivered the story. |
