Little Battlers eXperience/Danbōru Senki's English Dub Previewed in Video

A promotional video for Dentsu Entertainment USA's English-dubbed Little Battlers eXperience (Danbōru Senki) television anime series began streaming earlier this month. The video includes interviews with supervising producer Eric Rollman and story editor Brandon Auman.
Dentsu Entertainment USA announced plans to air the series on U.S. television in 2011. Namco Bandai signed on to create toys for the franchise in North America last year. Dentsu USA describes the story:
Our young hero, 13-year-old Van Ridgeway, has control over the LBX model, a super-charged robot left to him by a mysterious woman. Van and his friends, with their own unique robots, become involved in a global conspiracy that turns the robot battles deadly serious and affect the safety of the world. The LBX robots are personalized by the characters in the animation series – and by fans of the show with their own LBX toys at home.
The anime from the studio OLM (Pokémon, Deltora Quest) adapts a "near-future, plastic-model-building role-playing game" from Level 5 (Dragon Quest VIII, Professor Layton, Inazuma Eleven, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE). The player customizes and controls miniature robots called LBX (Little Battler eXperience) as they battle it out in dioramas built from reinforced cardboard. The anime version premiered on TV Tokyo in 2011 and aired for 44 episodes. The sequel, Danbōru Senki W ran for 58-episodes in 2012, and the latest series Danbōru Senki Wars premiered in April.
