Masahiko Otsuka, Head of Studio Trigger, Goes to Anime Expo

Anime studio Trigger's translator and interpreter Tatsuru Tatemoto confirmed that staff members of the company will be present at this year's Anime Expo, including the studio's representative director and Little Witch Academia scriptwriter Masahiko Otsuka.
Otsuka penned parts of Gurren Lagann and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. He also worked as an episode director on FLCL, Gunbuster 2: Diebuster, Gurren Lagann, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. He and his frequent collaborator Hiroyuki Imaishi (Dead Leaves, Gurren Lagann, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) joined others in establishing Trigger in 2011.
Trigger will host a Little Witch Academia panel at Anime Expo with voice actress Megumi Han (Akko Kagari). The studio created Little Witch Academia as part of Anime Mirai 2013 program. The studio is streaming the original anime video on YouTube and Crunchyroll with English subtitles, and the Blu-ray is slated for this summer.
Imaishi is helming Trigger's first television anime series, Kill la Kill.
