Mangirl! Blu-ray to Include Unaired Swimsuit Episode

The official website for the Mangirl! series revealed on Thursday that the anime's Blu-ray Disc release will include an unaired 14th episode. The "Asobu Henshū Girl" episode will be about five minutes long, and will include the characters in swimsuits.
The anime series will ship on a single 90-minute Blu-ray Disc on May 24 for 7,350 yen (about US$81). In addition to the 14th episode, the video extras will include the full-length music video for the anime's theme ""girl meets DEADLINE" by the lead voice actresses, a "marathon mode" that will allow viewers to watch all 13 television episodes back-to-back without individual openings and endings, and a collection of television commercials.
The set will also bundle a priority ticket application for a planned event, a booklet, a clear sleeve for the Digipak packaging, cover art by character designer Shinya Ojiri, and a postcard drawn by Mangirl! manga creator Kagari Tamaoka.
Mangirl!follows the daily life of naive Editor-in-Chief Hana (Kanako Miyamoto) and "Japan's cutest manga editors" as they attempt to realize their dream of launching the #1 manga magazine — even though they have zero experience in actually editing manga.
Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
