Japan's Animation TV Ranking, July 11-17

Goro Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Tales from Earthsea film aired on July 15 at 8:30 p.m. and earned a 12.0 rating. (The second Ghibli feature from Goro Miyazaki, Kokuriko-Zaka Kara, opened in Japanese theaters on the following day.)
Similarly, last year's Pocket Monster Diamond & Pearl: Genei no Hasha Zoroark film from Kunihiko Yuyama aired on July 14 at 7:00 p.m. with a 6.6 rating. Yuyama directed this year's two Pokémon feature films, Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Kuroki Eiyū Zekrom and Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Shiroki Eiyū Reshiram, and both opened in Japan on July 16.
Last year's 22nd Anpanman film, Soreike! Anpanman: Black Nose to Mahō no Uta, also aired on July 15 at 4:30 p.m. with a 2.0 rating. This year's film, Soreike! Anpanman: Sukue! Kokorin to Kiseki no Hoshi, opened in Japan on July 2.
