Japanese Box Office, August 29-30 (Updated)

The third film in Yukihiko Tsutsumi's three-part adaptation of Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys manga debuted at #1 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's Japanese box office chart during the August 29-30 weekend.
Kamen Rider Decade: All Rider Tai Dai-Shocker dropped from #3 to #4 in its fourth weekend. Kunihiko Yuyama's Pocket Monster Diamond & Pearl: Arceus Chōkoku no Jikū e, the 12th film in the Pokémon anime franchise, stayed at #5 in its seventh weekend.
Mamoru Hosoda's Summer Wars film continued its rise back on the chart; it went up again from #9 to #7 in its fifth weekend. Similarly, Shinsuke Satō and Production I.G's Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror inched up from #11 to #10 in its second weekend.
