USA Today Booklist, August 13–19: Fruits Basket Rises to 3rd Best Ever Spot

Volume 17 is only manga volume on weekly best-sellers' list at #34
Fruits Basket Volume 17 is the only manga on USA Today's August 13–19 list of the nation's 150 best-selling books. However, after entering the list at #99 last week, the volume has now climbed to #34. This is the third highest position any volume of Fruits Basket has ever held.
Volume 14 placed at #24, while volume 16 rose the highest of any manga to ever appear on the list, reaching the #15 spot in April of this year. Of the 17 volumes of Fruits Basket that have been released in the US so far, 14 have appeared on the USA Today list.
Both of the other manga that were on the list last week (Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 14 and Bleach Volume 20) failed to return.
