Fan-Made UFC Wrestling Manga Posted

An artist going by the name "manabelldo" has posted a four-page web manga explaining the July 4 title match between Ultimate Fighting Championship wrestlers Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin, in which Carwin took an early lead but Lesnar came back to win the fight. The manga is in Japanese, but text was provided for the purpose of translation:

Explanation: Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar are Mixed Martial Artists from America who have played American football and are large men, wearing size 4XL gloves. Even then, Carwin's fists are so large that the gloves have to be cut before he can fit in them. Carwin also won 12 UFC matches in a row, taking out his opponents in a single round and leaving himself undefeated.

But this time, the one fighting those fists is Brock Lesnar. After Lesnar beat Frank Mir at the UFC100 and was named champion, he was hospitalized for mononucleosis and was expected to be unable to return to fighting. Now he has completely recovered from his illness and his performance will improve, says [UFC president] Dana White.

The 35-year-old artist says on his blog that he became a "fanatical" Mixed Martial Arts fan after watching a 2003 fight between Mirko Cro Cop and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. He has been posting web manga about mixed martial arts and wrestling on his blog since October 2008.
