While the story takes place on a fictional island "Neijima," many locations in the first chapter are real, including Animate Fukuyama Shop, JR Onomichi Station, and the pier of small ferry boats between Onomichi and Mukōjima (but with "Mukōjima" either blanked out or cropped out).
