In Ep05, the Daisy Fitzgerald songs that are played, are also common BGMs in the ARIA series. This is not too surprising as ufoTable is involved in both series.
The clay figures of characters at the end of each episode resembles that of Tales of Symphonia's (the anime) ending
The song Rentarou sings early in episode 7 is "Yume no Naka e" by Suzuki Chihiro and Enomoto Atsuko, the closing theme from Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou.
In episode 10, when the Squid attacks Rentarou, it does a number of Naruto hand seals followed by a Katon no Jutsu.
