Trivia:
Shiro's name is probably a reference to being albino; "shiro" is "white" in Japanese.
All the Deadmen are assigned bird names that are used as code names for them during Carnival Corpse competitions
Miyako, a member of Scar Chain, bears a striking resemblance to Pinako Rockbell (Fullmetal Alchemist) and is even voiced by the same English dub actress in both series (Juli Erickson). Additionally, the character's name, Miyako, could possibly be in homage to Pinako's Japanese Seiyū, Miyako Asou.
