HOLY FRIGGIN MOTHER OF LORD!
This is exactly how you should follow-up on Tamako Market. Transition from the carefree and fun life into serious romance. Can't wait for this. We actually get to see Tamako being something else other than moe.

I full-heartedly agree.

Tamako Market was pretty damn boring.
Quite the colorful cast, yet pretty much everyone uninteresting and bland.
Except for Kanna and Choi, I guess.
Most of the characters seemed to be "just there".
A romance focused story, however, could change this. So I'm kinda looking forward to it.
Now if only Mochizou grows a pair...

H-how lewd!
Ohhh, I can imagine this could get ugly!
So as long the movie will be about those three, and they develop everyone where it becomes an even playing field for them, we could have a solid romantic movie where the triangle is actually not annoyingly one-sided.

I haven't watched Tamako Market yet, though it's on my to-see list, but I really do like the idea of transitioning from a slice-of-life series to a romance movie. It sounds like the series is growing up alongside its lead!

I wonder how this will work out. Guess I'll have to wait for BDs then which means it could take quite awhile before I can actually watch the movie ;.;

I can totally imagine that, on April 1rst, a trailer gets released and announces that the serious romance is just an April fool joke and that the movie will be a laidback comedy like its TV series.

Dera isn't in the cast list. Looks like this movie still has a chance

while I thought Tamako was only a step above k-on(and to be clear I found k-on to be ridiculously boring) I am at least curious, simply out of the fact that it's not another stupid re-telling but it will be something new. That and the fact that they will be focusing on romance makes me wonder if they'll step up to the plate or just puss out.
+1
