I definitely want to check it out. I really like the designs by Okama and I hope that maybe in the future Getsumen To Heiki Mina will be localized as well.

Another cheap license I'm sure. I wonder if Maiden Japan is just going to be their label for the super cheap licenses.

But yeah, this is rated #2832 out of 3704 titles in the encyclopedia. Can't think there was any sort of demand for this show.

M-I-N-A-M-I-K-E... please Sentai?

Disappointing show, wasted most of its time on what seems to be filler, and ends on a cliffhanger. There's a second season which I dropped half way through...

This came up last time: "Maiden Japan" is only relatively "new" they've been around since 2010.

For what it is worth, even Maiden Japan still describes itself as an "exciting new anime label" in today's press release.

"Boring" is the perfect word to summarize this show. It didn't really succeed in any of its genres.

I have to agree with Megiddo; I wonder why they thought there was any demand for it...
And I want Minami-ke licensed also. But Sentai, admittedly, would not be my preference. Not a big fan of their dubs these days (assuming it would even be dubbed.)

Never heard of this show myself, but it looks like it might be something I would have an interest so I will probably rent it once it comes out.

Well, this series does have Starchild as one of the producers, and they produced Minami-ke too. I would love if that finally got licensed.

I was just wondering about that myself, thanks.

Well, ADV signed off with "ADV Films is the #1 producer-distributor of Japanese animation (“anime”) in North America and has the largest English-language anime library in the world" right up until they kicked the wossnim, even after losing years of work wholesale to FUNimation Wink

Sooooo....I'm guessing by the way it goes for Section 23, the dubbed (dual audio) versions will be under Sentai Filmworks and the subtitled versions will be under Maiden Japan from now on???

Other than that, interesting titles that S23 has made so far eh?
