Not only that, but it actually won the Best comics series award this very year (the last one ever awarded at Angoulême). |

And I've never understood why Viz doesn't include that on in its awards lists along with the Shogukan, Kodansha, and Media Arts awards. It's not like the average reader knows what those mean any more than they would the Angeoulême. |

Just to point to the overlooked fact in English world that Riyoko Ikeda will be a main guest of the festival and she will have an exhibit + other events during the festival.
