Pretty Cure series will only stop being made when: 1. The merchandise sales drop off. or 2. Toei Animation goes bankrupt. whichever comes first. At least this season will be fresh! Right? Right?! |

Furesshu even
(yes, I know that's just how 'fresh' is spelled in kana; I just like the mangled English titles and names) Speaking of PreCure merchandise, are all those made-for-merchandise-looking gadgets in the anime actually for sale over in Japan? I'd like to see some pictures. |

Of course! From the first "commune" to each year's iterations, the sparkle bracelets and the mini computer like thing... the love checker to the new rotating communes in splash star, the pinky catch and pretty cure batons... Anyway, yes, absolutely any and every possible toy, merchandise, product, etc has been made for pretty cure. You want pictures? Just search for it on amazon.co.jp: http://www.amazon.co.jp/プリキュア/s/qid=1227802859/ref=sr_nr_i_0?ie=UTF8&rs=&keywords=プリキュア&rh=i:aps,k:プリキュア,i:toys There are 511 entries under toys for Pretty Cure. |

Thanks for the link! My Japanese is still non-existent enough to not be able to look that up myself.
Mipple and Mepple's gadget forms are the same toy, except for a small insert? How cheap! @ the chibi dolls of Cure Black/Cure White/Shiny Luminous |

You know, the real revenue comes in from those stationery, toys and gadgets. The anime is more like an ad for those. |

Don't forget the movie tickets, video games, arcade games, collectable cards, dress up outfits, pajamas, glow in the dark pajamas, bicycles, stage shows, and PAID BIRTHDAY PARTY APPEARANCES. No, I'm not kidding. I saw advertised once that you could get the costumed characters to show up at your birthday party for an hour for only $1500 or so. |

It looks to me like Toei have managed to make the magical girl anime equivalent of Power Rangers (Sailor Moon came close, but no cigar)! |

Hahaha that's a good one.
They'll never stop doing the show. It's a magical princess show. With a hidden agenda. Hahaha!! They'll never stop making that show. Though I'm curious to see what they come up with next. Even though I haven't seen much of the last series. |
