Good to hear about the liner notes for Lucky Star, as it sure needs them!

I wonder what the difference between theatrical and DVD version of The Girl Who Leapt thru Time is. Does anyone know?

no....
but i DO have Japanese special edition DVD...
i don't know what the difference would be because i didn't see it in the theaters...
at least with Bandai's release, i'll have both versions of the film...
and the description of Rocket Girl is slightly wrong in the article....Yukari didn't become an astronaut while looking for part-time work...she got tricked into becoming one while looking for her lost father on the island where the space agency is located....
the encyclopedia has correct description at least....
very cute series...can't wait for to watch it on DVD....loved the series on fansub an year ago...
PLEASE don't mess up dubbing....more like Haruhi and not Gundam Seed...

so does this mean we'll get Code Geass R2 without a break?
I doubt it but that would be awesome.
I really like the attitude they seem to be approaching the series from.

Have you seen them? We're better off without them.
Now, if they would only license Turn A Gundam, Gundam X, or Victory Gundam. I would even accept ZZ.

I was hoping to hear about some estimate as to when Geass will start release on DVD. I really do not want to wait as long to complete this as I did with Eureka Seven.

I'm pleased that Clamp School & My-Otome Zwei are coming out this summer!
That's lifted my spirits a bit from Funi's lack of Ouran announcement.

Well, it is still early in the con season. They are probably holding off until AX or something.
Way to go Bandai! That was a good move having Code Geass season 2 included in the license.
All in all, sounds like it'll be a good year for Bandai Ent.

That is until ANN makes another announcement about some negative aspect of the industry and the forums explode in a "the sky is falling" routine, again.
But yes, this makes me a happy fan indeed. Let's just hope for better news from the industry as a whole over the next few months.

Yes, but luckily, with the exception of Geneon, everything else has been just that: A case of "the sky is falling". Yes, the R1 industry is flailing, but I'm referring to the whole ADV issue. They didn't close their doors like so many concluded. Supposedly just some legal matters to straighten out.
Besides, I'm a "glass is half full" type of person.

Ah it all makes sense. They're holding off Code Geass so they can get all the materials they can possibly get - to give us a really awesome release. Bandai really know how to do things, go them. It's annoying that the Japanese companies like to take their sweet time in getting the materials together though - either that or they are just waiting to abridge series 1 and 2 of Code Geass and release it together. Either way - I'm seriously looking forward to this and everything Bandai has to offer this year. More of the same later on in the year please Bandai =)

I totally missed the part about the Code Geass manga at the end
looks like Bandai will be putting a lot of eggs in the Code Geass basket; I really hope it works out for them.

I am glad to hear that they are releasing all of the Code Geass Mangas. They are impossible to find scanned and the Spin offs look fun. Nightmare of Nunnally is especially promising.
