Not a lot of mangaka out there who get to direct an adaptation of their own comics, but there are a few examples out there (Otomo with Akira, Miyazaki with Nausicaa, etc.). Inoue is a fantastic artist, so it will be very interesting to see how his vision translates to film.

Real is getting new chapters from time to time. And some people argue that Vagabond might simple be considered "finished" by Inoue, but it is not really clear. |
