You mean like RK!Saitou was a bishonen?
Sure, he has a small but dedicated group of fangirls, but is he a bishonen? I don't think so. That is an interesting question, though. I wonder if he'll reuse Saitou's, Okita's/Soujirou's, Sanosuke's, Kanryuu's and Aoshi's character designs? After all, they are all based on Shinsengumi members as potrayed in historical fiction. Anyway, Watsuki is quite good at character design (in my opinion) so they should be pretty cool. |

Actually, I think he was referring to the Saitou design from Peace Maker Kurogane. I haven't seen it, but I hear they made him into a bishy in that series .

Oh, really?  I assumed they meant Saitou's RK design, since that what make more sense in this context. Thank you for the link.

nope, sorry. That is Yoshida.
Saitou in PMK is pretty creepy looking, no where near bishounen. He has this glum look on his face all the time and he is depressing to listen to because of his half-dead voice. However he is still cool, plus they gave him the ability to hear ghosts. |
