Looks gorgeous. I enjoyed Mary and the Witches Flower and the short films they did but it still felt like Ponoc was trying to replicate the look of Ghibli. While this still sorta looks like a Ghibli film you can tell there are a few different style differences in this film in comparison to their previous works. Hopefully, I get to see this in a cinema like I did with Mary.

It looks like they went for soft shadows when coloring the characters to better integrate them with the 3D elements. I don't like it.

They mention the in the article that the English cast will soon be announced so I'd bet it will get a standard theatrical release over here.

I have to agree with whoever said the animation looks gorgeous. I rather like Studio Ponoc.
