Well, I'm happy to see Hosoyan join the cast at the very least.

Why would you skip an anime purely because it is CGI? Like it or not, CGI is going to continue to be used in anime. Its like refusing to watch shows that aren't animated traditionally instead of digitally. Its just a progression of the system. I woule also say that CGI in anime is WAY better 10 or so years ago. I remember how horrible hallways were in stuff like Naruto.

It's almost fully 2D
Anyways, this looks awesome, hopefully we'll get enough episodes to cover all the manga...

I wanna know if the oneshots will also be adopted.
There were rumors of the episode list for the anime that included them.

Thrilled this is getting a bigger adaptation finally. Been waiting on this for years, as Spriggan is such a good property and deserves it. Believe me, this isn't some generic 3D anime that Netflix came up with yesterday--it's got pedigree--and it's looking better every trailer in terms of the mix of hand-drawn and 3D animation, too.
If you like bold Shonen/Seinen-style action, and appreciate near-future military sci-fi trappings like Metal Gear Solid and/or Indiana Jones-style supernatural ancient mysteries and adventuring, you'll get a kick out of this. It's such an entertaining and unique mix.
But...will The Forest of No Return story get covered? That one was a lot of fun.

To be fair to them, some of the 2D sort of look 3D in the way they were drawn.

This should receive a Houston dub as the previous Spriggan film did. If a Houston dub can't be produced then at the very least get Chris Patton back as the lead.

I am excited about this anime adaptation because Minagawa's manga is not well known outside of Japan. My favorite of his works is D-Live, but I hope that this one will be a hit and that others will be animated.
David Production seems to have his eye on works that might be popular outside of Japan but have not yet been animated.
Minagawa's works are famous for the large number of non-Japanese.

Netflix have worked with Sentai twice in the past. However most of the cast for the Spriggan Movie, either no longer work their or have retied.

Seeing the scenes already adapted in the movie is quite interesting. This show has real money behind it. Some of the best use of CG in a TV production so far.

Some have moved around. Chris Patton and Spike Spencer, IIRC, is in LA. Though for others like Mike Kleinhenz, he passed away.

I'm sort of curious about it since I bought the 2002 DVD back when it was one of the few anime titles you could actually buy in the store, back before the Internet was a viable source of anime.
