After the train wreck of index s3 I've no faith or hope for this series any more. If this and railgun 3 are as worse then ill just collect the LN...

Accelerator got short-changed, as the others up to this point were each 2 cours. I expect that is due to the lack of source material, however (only 9 manga volumes).

They all have different directors, which is what really matters. they are all made by J.C staff but the railgun looked and was paced so much better because the director was better and frankly I don't think it could get worse then Index director.

Also ,I am pretty sure there is no point on collecting the railgun LN since railgun is a manga.

I'd recommend collecting the LNs regardless, they're great! Really enjoy them, plus you just get a lot more details that get left out of the anime.

I wouldn't expect much from Accel as the source material was pretty disappointing. If you just mean the animation effort, then yeah, I also hope it is better than Index 3. I'm still holding out hope for Railgun 3 since the staff is different, and the source material for what is likely to get covered was quite good.

i thought season 3 was passable, was a bit all over the place, but i like the world of index, the music and animation too, just as long as its not railgun esque with misaka misaka getting all the creen time im happy.
that character alone annoys me.
but accelerator i like so this should be good, he reminds me of Izaya from DRRR
