Fusion Reborn is a great pick, would agree. I also love Lord Slug because, despite knowing it's not... 'good', I grew up with it and watched it countless times.
I'm surprised to Return of Cooler in the top 5 instead of Revenge of Cooler. Revenge was great, but Return I thought was pretty boring. |

My favorites are Dragon Ball Z Movie 9, "The Galaxy's at the Brink!! The Super Incredible Guy" (or "Bojack Unbound") and DBZ Movie 1, Dead Zone. Mostly for the atmosphere and OST, for both (but for some of the action, too).

Fusion/Broly 1/Return (the Metal Cooler one) are the ones that always seem to come up when people talk about the best of the old movies, so that sounds about right. Those later DBZ movies are very good looking too, and Fusion is the best of those.

Fusion Reborn is so overated. It literally has the most boring villain that only looks cool, has even less of a story then most DBZ movies yet peaple pick as their favourite because OMG Gogeta is so cool, even though he only appears for like a inute smh

Dead Zone is kinda hilarious because the villain basically gets rekt with his own powers. Still, Resurrection F... The actions scenes are nice but it doesn't establish anything new other than new forms and the 4th return of Frieza if you count his return to Earth, Fusion Reborn, the GT Hell, and then, the Tournament of Power. Basically Toriyama pulling recycled ideas from Toei's works similar to the new movie. |

I still have a lot of nostalgia for the first three DBZ movies. I especially love the Master Roshi fights in The World's Strongest and Dead Zone is one of the few times we see Kame fighting.

While I haven't seen all the DBZ movies, I do enjoy Fusion Reborn because it was so fun to watch fat Gogeta getting beat up a lot and all the slapstick hijinx.

Correction: Frieza is in Fusion Reborn. He is the leader of the dead villains that attacked Earth after they escaped from Hell. Gohan defeats Frieza and the rest of the villains. I'm not sure how that oversight was missed.

I like Fusion Reborn also! It reminds me of those good times. Saw it right near the end of middle school in 1998.

My favorite Z movies would have to be Bojack Unbound and Super Android 13 which I like for the over the top cheesiness and watching 13 with the English dub just makes it ten times more enjoyable.
