Looks great so far, especially the music.
I wonder if this will be a split 2 cour though. We'll have to see. Zero 2 reminds me of Nonon from Kill la Kill. |

So in a way, this is Gunbuster 3 or last seem to be channeling the Gainax heritage of Trigger even more than Kill la Kill.

I also liked the character designs, they might not be over the top like Trigger pervious works and especially like the mech designs and it looks like its hand drawn.

This is my most anticipated series for the next season, and everything is looking like it'll be coming together nicely.
I'm really excited to hear how Haruka Tomatsu portrays Zero Two, due to the more sinister and dominating personality she seems to visually exude. |

Yup, I was right to be worried about A1's involvement. It has generic looking backgrounds that don't look that good or that have much of an impact. Animation that was showcased wasn't impressive.

They are Masayoshi Tanaka's designs and he has designed for several different studios. Also, you might have heard of Your Name. Yeah, he did those too. He's literally only done a couple of things for A-1, and most of their work doesn't really look like this, so I have no idea what you are talking about. |

Here's hoping! I really like originals to get more than just one cour and there's a pretty sizable cast of characters and mecha. Yeah, like an older Nonon with a bit of Satsuki in her.
Yeah I like both the character and mecha designs. Man, I can't wait to see these mecha designs animated and in action.
