Does anybody know what happened in the end of Kikaider 01 (the second season).
I need to know what happened to Jiro! |

I think it ended like this:
spoiler[Jiro had kinky robot love with that chick -Mitsuko? Then he fought Hakaider (who went under the girl's dad's control), and bounced. That was about it. The last scene was that scene of him walking away into the woods from the ending credits.] Somethin like that |

Well, I'll post the OVA ending then. I couldn't remember the little boy's name though... ^-^;
spoiler[Reiko died, trying to protect the kid. Hakaider/Gil took the kid and put him in the center of his huge bad robot. So Jiro, Rei, & Ichiro along with Bijinder go to rescue the kid. Rei, Ichiro, & Bijinder all get sucked into the robot, leaving Jiro by himself. Jiro finds the kid inside a big tank of goo. (Apparantly, he's controlling it) Of course, Hakaider shows up and tells Jiro it's helpless. Rei & Ichiro have been reprogramed, attack & capture Jiro. Jiro wakes up, with a chip installed to make him evil. He convinces Bijinder to let him out and she does. Hakaider calls her to take care of the kid until the robot is fixed, but she takes the kid and escapes instead (although she also dies in the process). Jiro then comes out, kills his posessed brothers, who were protecting Hakaider, and then kills Hakaider, telling him that the chip makes him stronger because the good and evil inside him are constantly fighting for control.] The last 5-10 minutes was quite good. It's better than it sounds all typed out like that. |

Well...spoiler[Akira talks for the first time at the end, so you get the feeling that he will be OK. The last scene shows a crowd of poeple looking at the wreckage (including Mr. Hattori and his assistant what's-her-name) and just off to the side you see a shadow which looks suspiciously like Jiro. So yes, he does live and is able to continue his adventures in the next series of OVA.]
