The character designs looks okay but I'm really curious to see how they will adapt this...

Could this be a possible 2 cour?
The premise has some promise imo.

I really don't like the character designs, especially the guy.
Not that it should matter in the long run.

@Stark700: If the 4th and most recent novel was release 2 something to 3+ years ago, then I think there is enough time to adapt it where they could do a full 24-26 episode season. One reason I say this is because I have heard that some other LN-based series have gotten at least enough material to cover 2 volumes per season if it had more than 1 season.

It's a shame that the original character designs from the novel covers are so much nicer than the ones they went with for the anime. The anime ones look way more generic.

The story is interesting, but the character designs seem a bit generic...

It's really too bad that this happens. Many of these novels have gorgeous artwork on them, but they lose that when it comes to anime form. Even some manga suffer this as well (particularly Seraph of the End and Snow White with the Red Hair being the most recent examples I've seen).

Anyway, new mystery series are always nice and I'll be interested to see what happens with this one. I'd never heard of it before today, but now I know of what I should keep an eye out for come the Winter 2016 season.

That's fair, to me the LN art evokes the feel I get from Kids on the Slope and I like that. However, I can also understand that others prefer the art that the anime has. Nothing wrong with either opinion.

Wow, a Namaniku ATK x Asako Nishida mix of styles looks as good as it sounded. They have differing styles, but it still manages to work. Not quite as sure about another school band show, but the "mystery" part at least gives it something of a differentiation. P.A. WORKS has a strong track record, too, so hopefully it stands and turns out well…

The character description dumps on us that the characters are "worried about their love triangle." Hmmm.... Confused

Both the female and the male are in love with their male teacher. That's the love triangle.

Which I actually prefer to a normal love triangle (the male MC would be in love with the female MC, who though loves another person or vice versa)
