Fruits Basket ¿Second season?

Hi. mmmm well the thing is that I recently saw Fruits Basket and It is really awsome but I was wondering if its going to be like a Second Season or something because as far as I know the anime is upto the 6 vol. of the Manga and the Manga has like 20 vol ( Very Happy thnx for the tip fighterholic ) so if anyone can tell me some information it will be great..

Again English is my second languaje.

Fruits Basket is currently up to volume 20 in the Japanese run of the manga. As far as the creators of the anime are concerned, there are no plans to release a season two, though fans of the series are trying to petition for a season two.

The only way to know that there will be a second season is when the company that will make the second season actually makes it. So right now the only thing to do right now is wait.

If you can read Japanese, the manga is the best way to go at this point.

Actually, it looks like the manga is going to be the only way to go. A second season is nowhere in sight, let alone the third that would be necessary to complete the whole projected story. From what I've read the director isn't interested, and as I mentioned when the same question was brought up a while ago some changes were made involving Shigure and Akito that would make it very difficult to get a season two in line with what's happening in the manga.

And by the way, Poison Girl, your English is just fine! Very Happy
