Not again...
Just hope that somebody catches this psychopath once and for all and let the author draw peacefully...
And for the copycat threats, come on. Are some people taking this psychopath's side?

I doubt it, they just realized through the first guy how easy it is to generate real distress among the police without getting caught.
I'm telling you, japanese people are going to have some troubling times ahead if they don't find a way to deal with these ridiculous threats without affecting lives of general public.

What did the letters say?

Also, I wonder if the hall had video surveillance.

hmm i know a fitting punishment for this guy if they do catch him. Strap in the chair and force him to watch boku no sexual harassment. spoiler[This lovely h-ova features lovely male on male bonding has such lovely use of corn on the cob foreplay "the mc gets a ear of corn shoved up his ass."] I personally think that this would be a fitting punishment for him.

This is getting ridiculous. How is it even possible that the cops have not found this psycho or psychos if there is more then one. With all the threats and letters and things sent has to have been some kind of physical evidence that could be used to find this guy. I mean it seems like the cops just are not trying.

My thoughts, as well.

Even if the letters were the result of copycat(s), it wouldn't hurt to make an example of the person(s) responsible.

The way I see it, the cops don't care. If there's no physical harm/death, it's not a problem that the police should put their time and money on.

Wow, so Japan is now the only country in the world that I can think of where nerd terrorism is its own specific thing.

Imagine if this same tactic can be used against loli doujin peddlers in comiket... I can envision it happening Laughing

But seriously, if the inevitable really happens on a scale seen in 1995 to comiket... good luck sorting it out Japan.
(or just simply take U.S.A. template in dealing with this as seen after 2001...)

It took America 7 years to 'solve the Anthrax Mailing case. And by solve I mean a guy they suspected committed suicide so they figured he did it and closed the case. It's not exactly easy figuring out who mailed a letter if they don't leave prints or a return address.

This J-jerk doesn't seem to be as careful though. He/She's leaving many tracks and clues and talks too much. It's just that Japan is a low crime rate society that J-authorities don't have as much experience as the FBI concerning more serious crimes.

More importantly the question should be, why all the hubub over Kuroko's Basketball to begin with, and why bother fan circles over it?
