Not a thing I've heard of. Considering this is Tokyopop...I'm glad.
Glad to hear some manga announcements as well though. Now...Viz, follow up with some manga announcements too.

Gakuen Heaven Shichijou? Which one's that? I thought there were only three versions of the manga...

Yay, new shoujo manga licenses! Why, just the other day I was bemoaning the lack of shoujo manga heroines with glasses, and realized the only two I could think of were both named Kanoko—Oyayubihime Infinity (from dear CMX)'s protagonist and the just-announced Lady Kanoko (aka Warau Kanoko-sama). I only know the latter title from cover illustrations, but I'm already in love. And nice to have Skyblue Shore and Stellar Six of Gingacho confirmed for this winter! Yaaaay, Tokyopop!
By the way, I think the author's name should be Tsujita Ririko... (and I'm pretty sure the title character is Kanoko, not Kanako)

Hekikai No Aion is a fantastic series and it's made by Yuna Kagesaki. I have typically liked most her manga (except for mature manga she has written) I will say though, I might pick this series up next to Karin Air mail.
Which by the way, does anyone know the date that manga is going to arrive in stores? If not, that is fine.
Thanks for your hard work Tokyopop.
Jaymie: I thought that series was in quote "licensing hell". I also heard the original author wasn't that pleased with the happened with the series in US.

Oh my god, if someone gets the Sailor Moon manga, I would totally rebuy that series. I have the original, but the binding is complete crap and falling apart on some volumes.
From the live feed:
Q: Sailor Moon rights come back your way?
A: That will be... you will find out about that eventually..

Is Sailor Moon [b]THAT[i]popular still? I remember seeing it on TV but wasn't really all that faze by it (nothing fazed me when I was little ). Now that I'm a little bit older, I might be able to get into the series. Might just buy the manga for the heck of it.
Edit - I'm not really good at using Bold and Italic text on a forum...

Awesome, I'm a fan of Warau Kanoko-sama Haven't been able to pick up much by scanlations, so it will be nice to be able to read more of the series now.

Never read the manga but heard that it's very different from the anime so if Kodansha plans to re-release it (through someone else or themselves through their US branch) then i'd buy it all myself.

Now that Hekikai no AiON is licensed by TokyoPop, I'll just stop reading those on the websites.
None of the other manga interests me, though. :/

Well, I may just pick up Warau Kanoko-sama.
-It's short.
-Judging by the image on ANN's Encyclopedia page, the artwork's pretty.
-It's shojo.
Hopefully the story will be good, since this will probably be a blind buy for me unless I find a chapter or two scanlated somewhere.

As much as I hate TP, they licensed some awesome stuff. As long as they don't change a single thing, I'll be happy. Definitely getting Puzzle+ and Warau Kanoko-sama. Now it's time for VIZ to tell us about their licenses (hopefully we'll get some Kirarin Revolution!)

~fixed it
actually I'm not sure how popular it still is. but it has its large amount of loyal followers. not to mention it might be bought by\ someone for nostalgia reasons
who knows.
but my old Tokyopop copies are falling apart at the seams (like one of them is completely out of its binding.) plus its all flipped and edited.
A nice pretty re-print of Sailor Moon manga is one of my not-so secret wishes.
and the re-print version in Japan has stickers!

SAILOR MOON?! Well, that's one exciting thing! I wonder who? Oh wait, of course, probably Kodansha themself. Hopefully it'll be the new format that was released a few years ago. But do you know what? IT DOESN'T MATTER! Sailor Moon manga = <3 ...let's just hope there's no bunnies in this one :p
What might be a good idea is to put them into omnibuses... I wouldn't mind that! I know the reprints had the series condensed by a couple volumes, but maybe it would be a good marketing strategy?
