Saihate? Kokoro? Popipo? Rip-Release? That graduation song?
Those songs right there warrant it a buy, in a big way. People seem to miss the forest for the trees here: All miku really ended up doing is drawing out some amazing composing talent, it's not miku that makes these songs great. |

Also the prolific use of Nico Nico to promote these songs and the weekly Vocaloid rankings. Basically, amazing marketing beyond what Crypton could have ever imagined. |

"Melody" Is my favorite Miku song.
"I Want to Eat a Tuna" Is one of my favorite Megurine Luka songs. If it had those, I'd gladly shell out money that I don't have to buy it. |

Woohoo! Go Miku!!
![]() @samuelp: I wanted to say, I think using characters like Miku actually helps the songs a lot. It gives the music a human touch, but without all the emotional baggage real artists sometimes seem to carry. Plus, all of the artwork and animation that comes with a lot of the music videos is really neat too, and lends a lot of depth to the songs. For example, I'm not sure I would like Po Pi Po half as much if it weren't for Miku singing - actually, taken by itself it's kind of a weird song, don'tcha think? ![]() |
