From this preview, it looks like this movie will bear a passing resemblance to the anime at best...

Yay, they finally said manga. Though, technically, it's an adaptation of an anime, since the manga is also an adaptation. I hope it's not one of those screw-ups made as a result of Manga Entertainment.

Actually looks quite good which is surprising. I just hope theres not too much jumping around since it is a producer of crouching tiger which I hate.

Yeah, it looks epic. Now try listening to it. Hear that sound? it's called poor delivery of lines. I know, some of it is that English isn't their first language, but in that case, have them speak their native language! It's not like they have to speak English for something that's set in Japan!

Something tells me that they'll go the Production I.G. route and make the demon that killed Saya's father be her sister, and save it as a plot twist. I'm guessing the girl in white is Diva or a character like Diva.
I also love that they're keeping the idea of a best friend for Saya who has to deal with that friendship, knowing what she knows about her.
And was it just me or was a voice in that trailer dubbed?

vash: They still deliver their lines better than the American actors in DB: E.

Actually, she's called "Onigan," I believe, "demon-eyes"... or something.

And it was already leaked before somewhere that Onigen is not Saya's sister. Also, Diva does not exist in this movie either from the cast list on imdb.
I'm not saying what the relationship is either.

Looks cool. One minor quibble: I wish they had kept Saya's hair short like it is in the anime and manga (except in certain flashback scenes, of course).

Looks GOOD. I'm there.
One thing I'm curious about is will this movie touch more ground on 'Saya' background. Since the first movie only hinted at some things.
