The question how different is this going to be from the original? The original is in a school setting. So we are doing are special high school version of a series that is set in a high school. Okay let's see how that works.
What is next a high school version of Little Witch Academia or a high school version of My Hero Academia?

A fun new feature of this manga is that every time Suletta and Miorine hold hands or say I love you or kiss or get married, a Bandai representative will walk into frame and yell "THIS IS OPEN TO INTERPRETATION" directly at the reader.

I think the huge difference is that it's not a military school.

I think the huge difference is that it's not a military school. |
And people are not dying. Than again it is still part of the Gundam franchise, a Gundam series without death is just not something that is done.

Honestly, I'd expect someone from the company to straight-up mandate that each girl be given a boyfriend to pair with or this project likely wouldn't have been greenlit at all....

Considering the backlash said comment got (Even crewmembers who worked on the show called BS on it) not to mention the popularity of the Sulemio pair (Heck, they are the ones on the ads for this manga) I doubt that the creators of this manga are gonna let that happen. At worst the romance will more subtle and implied than what it was in the original work, though I do hope that this manga does more explicit stuff (Nothing NSFW obviously but to have them as an actual couple would be nice)

Gakuen spinoffs are pretty common so I assume it'll follow a similar pattern.

I actually hope we do get some Suletta x Guel stuff in the manga just to see the meltdown on western Twitter.

I hope we have some fun with the Elans. For example the 2nd Fairy Tail OVA, Fairy Academy with Siegrain, Jellal, and Mystogan all being in the same place at the same time.

Agreed. It'd also be nice if we got a bit more of Sophie and Norea as students in this one, rather than the very brief time they spent that way canonically.
