Does anyone know how much these two software programs are used in Japan for anime?
http://www.comicstudio.net/ http://www.deleter.com/ Also, do you see a market for these programs being released outside of Japan in other languages? Has anyone used these two programs here? Are there other programs in Japan like this? |

There's a US branch of Deleter, found here, so there's gotta be SOMEONE who's interested in marketing this software abroad (although, when I went, I was Access#35... I hope that's a daily-reset counter!)... There's even an English Demo... .. but it looks like they used a computer program to translate the text on the site... so I worry that they might have done the same for the program in question. A lot of the uploaded pictures that were made with this software appear to be no different than something that could theoretically be produced by currently-existing English products. Given the sheer number of anime webcomics and fansites with fanart, I'm certain there's a small market here for software like that... .. but from the sites presented, I fail to see how this software's really any different than, say, Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. If there's a significant difference, I'd love to know, but I'm not gonna bother downloading the software based on what I perceive from the sites. |
