"Aiming For Sango, Only You" (or something to that effect) and is anywhere between episodes 75-82, probably like 79 or something. Yes, unfortunately, it is just some wild fantasy that Kagome is having where she gets Sango and Miroku together and they get married. (Then, after the fantasy, she starts acting really weird, it's kind of funny, everyone thinks that she's been possessed by a demon, when she's really just happy at the thought of getting them together. She's making these really weird noises too) |
Yes! That is just the one I was talking about, haven't seen it in awhile though.

That...is....so....freakin'.....wrong.
No way Miroku would ever say faithful to Sango. I think his idea of "commitment" would be a Harem type-situation with girls in S&M gear and Belly Dancer Costumes.

Ha! That was hilarious! But, I'm not sure I entirely agree. Miroku could learn in time to be faithful. However, at the rate he's going, you're right, he's not gonna be faithful. And, it also looks to me like that drawing of them kissing was just some fan art. But, then again, I haven't mastered the ability to recognize Rumiko Takahashi's artwork. But it still looks like something someone drew in their spare time...

Whether or not it's consistent with Miroku's character to date (and I haven't seen far enough in the series to really have a handle on whether or not he'd eventually be able to stay faithful to one woman) I think it's quite probable that they'd end up together. It's common to try and have things "wrapped up" at the end of a story by resolving the UST and making sure that everyone (who is of age etc) ends up with someone.

That's the episode that just aired on AS on 10-16-2004, where some guy who's castle Sango's family exterminated years ago wants to marry her, and Kagome sees it as the perfect opportunity to get Miroku and Sango to admit their feelings for each other. Doesn't happen, but makes for quite an amusing episode.

More specifically, Kagome's twisted dream.
