Call me when they or their Japanese counterparts decide to be concurrent to the Japanese releases.

Marvel. A new challenger has stepped into the ring. And it's not DC.
Also, I really wish I had an iPad.

If you want concurrent to Japanese release, you could just move to Japan. Doesn't get more cncurrent than that.

You want Japanese comics the same day they come out in Japan. Move to Japan, the only way you could get them earlier is to squat in the printing press.

I think that this could be interesting. I think that it would be something that I would consider...maybe. But, I'd also want to get other e-books.
(off-topic)Can you load e-books from Amazon or Barnes & Noble onto an iPad? I'm so not up to date on techie stuff.

I believe you can, just go at the amazon.com website and look on the left at the Kindle section and go to the "Free Kindle Reading Apps" They give you the links to the Apps you need.
I might actually start buying Manga again if this trend of digital manga becomes popular. It would have been nice if it was a dollar less, but I am being pushy.

I'm sorry but putting manga on the iFad isn't cutting it.
It is still a Windows world Viz. I'm not paying for that overpriced junk.

Huh...
Have you seen the sales for the iPad?
And iPad has nothing to do with Windows.

Boo! I was hoping for something more exciting Well, if this helps manga sales some, AND it encourages more localizing and continue printing on paper, then I'm in support of it.

Can I see them? Cause I'm sure they're squat compared to laptop sales.

Yo Viz, there's a Comic Application for PSP (and I'd imagine, eventually PS3), be the first manga publisher to get on that. You won't make millions, but assuming it's a future proof platform, you'll have breathing room.

Are you really comparing a single product made by a single manufacturer to that of an entire subset of an industry?
I don't even like iOS devices, but jeeze, that's some logic.
