OK this Gatchaman trailer site is uber slow!
Cause I have cable internet, where I am now... Seriously it is taking forever to even stream the trailer. I have been sitting waiting on it for about 30 minutes, and it is only up to about 10 seconds worth of trailer....I decided to give up. Using the latest version of Firefox, tried to use Internet Explorer, and the site would not even do anything. Also the most recent version of IE... Anywhere else that might have this? I looked on Youtube, and the other sites, but all they had was the older 2007 trailer. |

Felix Ip, the former creative director at Imagi, posted the teaser video on his blog.

Glad to see Gatchaman wasn't cancelled. I didn't care for Astro Boy, but loved TMNT, and I'm a fan of the original Gatchaman.

Gunpla Builders looks like it might have some pretty good action and I like the character designs.
Gatchaman looks pretty good to. I've never seen the original but I have a friend who likes it. I should probably check it out. |

Eric: Here you go.
Anyway, I thought Gatchaman was dead. Good for Imagi. I hope they rebound with it. |

Thanks for the link!
Looks a LOT better than that old 2007 trailer that the other sites had. They look like the actual characters, instead of really odd looking versions. There is one small glitch though, Joe never really used a pair of guns in the show. He just had 1 gun that was more of a grappling hook. His weapon was exploding feathers that he usually threw into the bad guys neck... BTW speaking of the old show, did somebody "rescue" it since ADV is technically no longer in business? I realize that somebody would be taking a big risk rescuing an almost 40 year old show. However I would really like to see the sequels (Gatchaman 2, and G-Fighter). I used to own the other series, but it kind of dragged on a bit too long...the 90s OVA is still pretty awesome though. Also the mecha they fight does not really look like an animal (I suppose it could be a spider). Galactor usually had animal type mechs. Hope this gets a theater release, instead of direct to DVD. It could be fun, but it really looks like it's a Bandai self-wank fest. Of course, I hope the models featured in the show do become real gunpla, they had some interesting designs. The main one looked like a cross between Exia and the V2, while the other was like a MK-II with Nu mixed in. |

The Gatchaman trailer looked very cool, except for the lame ending.

All of them do indeed already have model kits planned. Here's some early display models Beginning Gundam Bearguy Super Custom Zaku F2000 Hi-NU Gundam GPB (Gunpla Builders) version |

Great news, I hope Imagi will do well with Gatchaman.
I was disappointed that Tetsujin 28 was listed in their coming soon list. But this is better than nothing, cause I've practically seen everything that's Gatchman related in anime. |
