There was some 20th anniversary thing related to vol. 34 on the JP Berserk site. Anyone know about it?

Wow. I was not expecting Berserk 34 to appear at Number 1. I think the last volume came in at Number 3.
I guess maybe Japanese readers have decided not to bother with individual chapters and just wait for the "tanks".

Seriously, why has Dark Horse not licensed Vinland Saga?

"Seriously" is right. Somebody needs to license Vinland Saga pronto.

i suspect 35's gonna sell even more after the HUGE event that just happened in the recent issue.
what's really shocking is Soul Eater ranking in number 2. it never debuts even close to this high.

it's a 30-40 page "Character and World Guide," giving a list of all the characters with some info about them, as well as stuff about different countries, how magic works, etc.
It should also finally settle the argument I've had with people who don't pay enough attention when they're reading that, yes, Guts and Caska's miscarried baby was the vessel for Griffith's reincarnation. Seriously, I've talked to people who completely missed that.

I hope Dark Horse includes the bonuses in the U.S release. I've been faithfully buying every volume, don't let me down Dark Horse!
Also, very happy Berserk is number 1!

The 20th anniversary bonus isn't much, really. If you've followed the series, you know everything in it already.
Still... wow, this series is almost as old as my younger brother. That's kind of scary. I hope the new arc is the last one, and that this will be finished before another decade passes!
