Wow, I really hope this means a chance for Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei to come out in english. Oh yeah, Casshern Sins and Eden of the East are definite votes, but that's just me.

Well, this is new. But they'll need a lot of input, and they won't get the amount they need from people who enjoyed a lot those series, but don't necessarily buy DVDs all the time. For me, there's tons of shows I certainly like, but very few worth owning and re-watching. I'd definitely buy Kaiba, and depending on how Guin Saga turns out, I'd consider that one as well. Casshern was great, but I'm sure owning it on a DVD would be a massive loss of what contributed to that show: the visuals. I watched Kaiba in HD as well, but it wouldn't suffer the same way Cassher SINS probably would; BD or nothing for that one. So when they say DVDs, I'm taking it strictly mean DVD quality only.
I must say, a lot of those titles are ones that the fans would love, but they're still missing a huge amount of shows from the previous years. |

I very much enjoy the idea of a redubbed sailor moon and Initial D. Seeing Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei is english would be fun as well; Todd Haberkorn would be excellent as the lead role (in my fanboy opinion).

I can't remember everything I voted on
 (which was quite a few) but Eden of the East was definitely one of them. Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei was one too. Along with Pandora Hearts (though i'd probably be the only one who voted on that.) Dunno if I voted on a redub of sailor moon but that would be interesting to see. It's a shame that you can't see this list now if you've already voted. Wonder when polls are coming out.
Btw, isn't this there second poll right? I could have sworn i'd done it twice, but the first one didn't have the sailor moon redub option. I think they were all just this spring's lineup. Oh god yes Eden of the East; also, Valkyria Chronicles and Ga-Rei: Zero.
And maybe Hatsukoi Limited. Oh, and to quote somebody who posted on the Funimation boards:
But I figure Sony is locked in on this, so I won't get my hopes up. Not that I mind them releasing it at all

I'm pretty sure you can already buy that Steinbeck novel in most places. As for a lot of the titles listed, I'm not sure they'd be totally viable. Kaiba probably never, since it wasn't a big show, and the art style will enrage people for some reason. Casshern might be interesting, since they can tie it in with Tatsunoko VS. Capcom, the character design is pretty much exactly the same, unlike the OVA from the nineties. |

Hmm... re-dub of Sailor Moon is interesting although I have to say despite the hackjob I really liked the DiC cast (or... half the DiC cast... apparently many characters had two VAs that swapped at random) and quite a lot of the DiC music. It's a bit like how people feel about Robotech vs Macross/Southern Cross/Mospeader
As for a CCS redub, I'd have to say not the Tsubasa cast, rather: get the Pioneer cast from Movie 2 back. Tsubasa's a completely different beast. Other than that, ticking the expected boxes (Eden, Toradora, K-On, Hayate, Kuroshitsuji) |

Oh heck yes to a re-anything of Sailor Moon. Especially if they could improve on the Japanese audio from the first two season and fill in the missing episodes. I would love to see it both dubbed and subbed and remastered (if possible). And while they're at it they should talk toei into letting them have the rights to Pretty Cure and not just have them sit on it/ put out a terrible download version of the series. The audio and video quality is just terrible on those things.

I agree. I wonder if "redubbed" means taht the remastered audio on the Japanese DVD's is unavailable... I also wonder if the DBZ-style HD remake is an option, although they'd never make back production costs... |

I wonder why Michiko et Hatchin wasn't listed? That show was fun and it would be cool if they had a Spanish dub as special feature.

Same here. That show would make a great hit with its spanish elements ( dunno how it did in Japan though ) PLUS it's by Manglobe. You can't say no to that. Also I would love Funi forever if they got Eden of the East and ToraDora. Surprise no Vampire Knight though unless Viz is getting that >.> |
