Well, thank god I finally found copies of Gantz 4 on Amazon, all the bookstores and other sites were out of them. So yeah, it must be selling fairly well.

For some reason, I can't quite understand why Rosario + Vampire is so popular. Not saying it's bad, I've only read what Shonen Jump has previewed, but it just seems unlikely. I hardly ever see anyone online talking about it, or any kind of buzz. Manga that sell that well usually have a popular anime or a decently-sized online following before getting licensed and selling a bunch. I know it has an anime, but I haven't seen many signs of it catching on all that much. For the manga to sell so well just seems out of the blue.

It amazes me to see Bleach doesn't sell as well as I thought.
Also, no wonder Naruto gets the treatment it is receiving right now, what with trying to release everything almost at the same time on the West than the East.

I was a bit surprised myself to see Gantz on the list, but I also remember that it was licensed not too long ago, so the low number volume makes sense now. That's six different manga series this week mind you.

bahamut: I'm guessing that R+V appeals to fans of action-horror flicks such as Army of Darkness, The Monster Squad, and Shaun of the Dead, which is why it has its own following. In Japan, it probably does well, due to the fan-service and the semi-tsundere characters.

Gantz is the only seinen series I know to have a rabid online following like Naruto or Bleach, glad to a seinen title make it.

I'm hoping that Gantz wasn't a typo. I'm happy to see it up there as well.
As for Rosario + Vampire, I'm not that surprised I found the manga enjoyable.
