For the past week now, The Funimation Channel have been airing promos for new shows coming to the channel, the promos I have seen are for Mushi-Shi, BECK, Basilisk, Tsubasa and School Rumble; no dates were given just listed as 'Coming Soon'.

indeed, and i thought i had it too, i have like some sorta digitial cable thing, but i checked i don't have it... of all the channels i get, my comcast doesn't seem to have it... kinda lame... oh whats worse your asking? whats worse? ... oh its just that those are all shows i've been dyign to see is all (cept mushi-shi i saw that).

Does it have some sort of universal channel? or is it going to be different depending on region, becuase i know i must have it, we ordered like the premium package back when we got it.

The FUNi channel's available via Verizon's FiOS digital TV service, and I think it's also on the lineup in a few random markets.

They sure would do wonders if they expanded The FUNimation Channel, you know... i mean i'm not even sure if I myself would actually watch it, but you can be assured that if they did a little advertising and expanded their networking to other cable providers' networks, that there sure would be a bunch more happy anime fans out there.

I used to be able to see a four-hour block of the channel on Colours TV on DISH Network last year. Then, they cut the number of hours down to two. Then three months ago, the block was completely taken off the channel. To this day, I haven't been able to figure out why the Funimation Channel block was taken off Colours TV.

I don't have FUNuimation Channel either on Comcast Harrisburg and I don't think they have it on any of their other markets in the area. I checked Comcast Carlisle didn't have it neither did Comcast York.

I don't know, either, as it didn't seem like they were starved for ratings and Funi wasn't helping, right? I have a theory, though. The block they were running recycled WAY too fast, with shows like Negima!, Case Closed, and Kodocha running only about twenty episodes before recycling their run. Other 26-episode series were shown in full, but honestly, since there were only about ten shows even shown throughout the week on the station, ad nauseum, I stopped watching the block because I had seen everything within a short period of time.

That could be it, I guess.

If that were the case, then I'm rather disappointed with Funi for that area. They could have at least came out publicly for the reason why they pulled the block from Colours TV instead of abruptly pulling it for no reason.

For those of you wanting the Funimation Channel, have you contracted your cable/satellite providers requesting it and if so, have you done it more than once?

According to a fan report at this year's Funimation Industry panel at Sakura-Con, Funi's Adam Sheehan told a story how the channel was able to be acquired in a small town.
