Exclusive: Hunter x Hunter Cast to Appear at Awesome Con in April 2025

NEW YORK -- Voice talent from the highly-acclaimed anime series, Hunter x Hunter, will be on hand this April to meet fans at Awesome Con in Washington, DC. Scheduled to appear are Erica Mendez (voice of Gon), Cristina Vee (voice of Killua), Keith Silverstein (voice of Hisoka), Tara Sands (voice of Biscuit), Mela Lee (voice of Canary), Robbie Daymond (voice of Chrollo), Max Mittelman (voice of Mereum), and Ray Chase (voice of Hanzo, Squala and Geretta). All voice actors will be appearing all three days of the convention. Awesome Con will take place on April 4-6, 2025 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Preorders for cast autographs and photo ops will go on sale on February 14, 2025. However, not all voice actors will be participating in the presale. Presales and the details will be posted at www.awesome.com.
Created by Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter x Hunter is one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The TV series launched in 2011 and ran through 2014 for a total of 148 episodes. The series has received critical acclaim due to its complex storyline and well-developed characters. It was even dubbed “one of the greatest anime series ever” due to its story arcs.
Hunter x Hunter tells the story of Gon Freecss, a determined young boy who discovers that his long-absent father is a world-famous Hunter—a highly skilled professional who takes on extraordinary tasks like locating rare creatures, uncovering hidden treasures, exploring uncharted lands, and capturing dangerous criminals. Inspired to follow in his father's footsteps and uncover the truth about his past, Gon sets out on a life-changing journey to become a Hunter.
