Quote:
a man dropped a bag in front of an officer on the upper-level road outside Tom Bradley International Terminal at 10:55 a.m. PT that day, and claimed he was a terrorist with a bomb. Police blocked the roads in front of that terminal and two others, which resulted in delays for passengers departing and arriving. The man's bag was eventually examined and declared harmless, and the airport cleared the threat by 1:02 p.m. PT. Police arrested the 27-year-old man and identified him as Scott Juhun Lee from Irvine, California.

Thanks for screwing it up for other people who look like Harold and Kumar, jerk. Razz

She joked that if Jackie Chan was there, it would have been like the Police Story movie, and that maybe the sentai team Dekaranger can save the day.

Um, ok...I imagine if Jackie and Dekaranger were there, they'd be jumped and hauled in with that Irvine guy, if they tried to save the day. Laughing Well, anyway, if ANN interviews her, let her know about Forbidden Kingdom hitting Japan, and that upcoming concert. She seems into his stuff, so...

I wonder what made him decide to do that on the day that Shokotan was arriving? Rolling Eyes

Why do people do stupid things like that? Was the guy hoping they'd shoot him or something? If he was just after attention there are plenty of less dangerous and more fulfilling ways to get it.

I don't know what the penalty is for false bomb threats in California but they should dramatically increase it. Crap like this only makes security less likely to stop real bombers.

Jackie Chan takes down mad bomber on a flight of terror with the help of sentai team Dekaranger. Sounds like a kick-ass movie to me.

Depending on the specifics of what was done, he could be charged with a federal crime since targeting a place like LAX could even be considered terrorism (even if it was fake).
Well, if the guy's just nuts, probably not much jail time, but if this was some sort of planned thing designed to disrupt the system, he could be in jail for decades.
