This is great news. Skip Beat is a pretty fun series. I liked Pretear and I love Princess Tutu, so I'm looking forward to what the director and the studio can do. Now if they'd only animate Nakamura's other work, Tokyo Crazy Paradise.

This is a manga that interested me, though not so much that I ran out and bought it. I'd definitely watch the anime though, to see how the story goes.

Hair-bleaching is common among the younger set of Japanese these days. At least I don't see any blue eyes.
And I've concluded that by now the Japanese must think westerners look like cartoon/comic book characters.

This news is long past due. Skip Beat is one of the best shoujo manga running right now; I hope it can make a good transfer to the small screen (And I hope that this causes more people to read the manga!)

Imho, Skip Beat! is by far and away one of the best shoujo manga out right now; it's certainly one of my top favorite reads. I can't tell you how excited I am to hear this news. It's about darn time!!

I find Skip Beat! to be an above average shojo series. I'm currently on vol.12, but I wonder if the story gets even better beyond that point....? (no spoilers please)

This is really good news for me. I've been waiting for an anime adaptation of Skip Beat! I'm not a big shojo fan, but I loooooove Skip Beat!

I love the manga I also think a Tokyo Crazy Paradise anime would be awesome, this works just as well for me, I am very happy!
And it is a relevant plot point, the bleached hair. Kyoko does it for a reason
