And Amazon is keeps pushing up its anime offer to worldwide audiences, if they snap another two series I might want to get the add-on to get no commercials.

Well they needed something to air after Invincible I guess.

I wonder if that’s the existing relationship with Khara or if Amazon MGM wants to release the Gundam movie.

So basically, you can forget about a proper dub and physical release (outside of Japan).

Does this means that GquuuuuuX will be dubbed into multiple languages once it premieres in Prime Video? If that's so, I'm interested to know where Amazon is going to dub it into Neutral Spanish, because there's not a lot of anime which premiered in Prime Video which had Neutral Spanish dubs that premiered there, though there's a lot of licensed series that already had dubs. The anime that premired in Prime Video with Neutral Spanish dubs were Evangelion:3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (they also redubbed the first 3 movies), the movie Look Back and last week Magilumiere was added with a dub, and it's kind of interesting because the dub studio that dubbed Magilumiere into Neutral Spanish, Blue Digital Group, were also responsible for Gundam: The Witch of Mercury's dub and to be fair, I don't know if I'd like for BDG to dub GQuuuuuuX, not because they did a bad job on the above mentioned series, but the thing is that due to them being based in Cuernavaca, Mexico, they don't have that many actors compared to studios in Mexico City and it would be kind of weird for two Gundam series in a row to have very similar voice casts in Neutral Spanish, but to be fair, Amazon dubs their shows into Neutral Spanish in various regions, i.e. Argentina, Chile, Mexico City and they even used to dub series in El Salvador.
EDIT: as I wrote this, I saw some news that Prime Video will implement an option for AI Generated dubs into Spanish for some shows and movies that don't have dubs into that language. I remember last year there was a huge backlash when they made an AI generated dub for a Korean Drama. The backlash didn't consist of actors, even regular people thought the dub sounded weird. They deleted that dub since, but I didn't imagine they would try it again.

A dub isn't ruled out entirely, since Amazon did dub Magilumiere after it finished airing, but a physical release is less likely with Amazon involved.

Edit: The official announcement from Amazon says it will be available dubbed in ten languages, but doesn't specify which languages. So an English simuldub may be happening. We'll have to wait for more information.

Somehow I never considered the possibility that a new Gundam series in this day and age would go to anyone other than Crunchyroll.

That's a shame, I was really looking forward to it too - but not so much that I would make the (in my current situation reckless) financial decision to get another streaming service just for it.

They've instantly killed off any hype for this show because nobody is paying for Amazon to watch it and anyone watching it will find other means to do so.

Don't forget that Netflix got the exclusive rights for Hathaway and Requiem for a Vengeance (which I don't think it counts as a anime, but it still is a Gundam production), Netflix was also going to produce a Gundam live-action film alongside Legendary but it seems they abandoned the project.

How does Prime Video's popularity compare to other streaming services? I gotta admit that I only have Netflix, Disney+ and MAX. Prime Video isn't very popular where I'm from, especially compared to those I mentioned above, I think the only Prime Video series that most people discuss, at least online, is Invincible. Don't know if GQuuuuuuX would've been more popular if it had been streamed on Netflix or Crunchyroll, although I think they'd have been better options compared to Amazon. Don't know if we'll see a situation similar to Dan Da Dan where multiple services got it.

Amazon!? That's so random. I can only think it's connected to the relationship they already have with Khara.

Not happy about this whatsoever. Might have to spring for the no-ad option, so I can watch my Gundam in peace.

I like Gundam a lot, but I won't be paying Amazon for this.

I'll survive.

Besides what everyone has already said, it's a shame when anything gets sent to Amazon because their video player is absolutely terrible

Well looks like this is going to lose a lot of hype, really seems like if an anime is not on Netflix or Crunchyroll no one cares for it or will just pirate it.

Amazon might have even worse communication than Hulu because this is the first I've heard of a Magilumiere dub, wild.
