It was confirmed that is was only four cours a couple years ago by AnimeTV.
What's the point in reconfirming this?

Guessing it will be July at the earliest, since the previous 3 seasons where either Fall/Summer.

Yeah no, gonna rip this band-aid off right now...cour 4 will absolutely NOT air in July. If it was...they would have said so in this trailer/announcement video. A stretch would be Fall 2025...but in all likelihood, it will either be Jan 2026 or April 2026 at the latest.
Which is fine. Let them make the cour look amazing.

It would be best to release part 4 during fall 2025 or spring 2026. Most of the season will be expanded and anime original content. This will also give them time to fully polish the episodes before release.

Can't believe we're almost at the end. Pierrot Films knocked this cour out of the park so I hope they continue to do so for the final cour, especially since a lot of it is going to be anime original.
Though they're already teasing Ichigo's broken new Bankai...

You comment smugly like that:
A - The series wasnt already confirmed to be 4 cours before the first part aired.
B - That there is enough content left for more cours considering the adaption rate of the three current cours.

These days, whenever you see 1 hour special, its USUALLY (but not always) just 2 episodes stacked together with 2OPs and 2EDs.

As of the end of the latest cour there are 26 chapters of the manga left to adapt (since they skipped over Hitsugaya showing up in the fight). Suffice to say that that's not getting extended any further than one more cour.
