It's time to celebrate the best of the best—and we need YOUR input! Cast your vote in our Reader's Choice Awards 2024! In this category, we are diving into some serious tunes. We're not talking about only the opening or ending songs of an anime series here, but the tunes that make you cry (and cry harder because of the accommodated track), laugh, to making you feel hyped during a fight scene! We're talking about Original Soundtracks! Make your nomination for the top OST of the year now! Instructions 1. Each person may nominate one OST only. 2. Nominated OSTs must be from an anime series that aired this year. 3. To submit your entry, please use the following format for the first line of your post: Name of the Anime Series (bold, italicized, and underlined). You may add additional comments on why you are nominating said OST in your post. 4. If you wish to change your nomination, you are free to do so during the nomination period. To update your nomination, please edit your original post. Further nomination posts after your initial post will not be counted. 5. Days with my Stepsister
The OST is melancholic, yet calming. Minimalistic sound, I never really listened to lo-fi music but what I have heard throughout the series was really intriguing. The minimalistic music was enough to capture the situations well enough to make them as emotional as they could get. So for me, this is the OST of 2024. I do exclude the OP and ED as some other anime series have really great opening and ending theme songs which kept in my ear for months.[/b] |

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
The ED is just the second verse of the same song as the first cour, the second cour still uses the amazing BGM as the first cour, and the second OP is better than the first IMO. So since the first cour was best OST of 2023, and the second cour is just strictly better than the first OST-wise, it therefore follows that the second cour is the best OST of 2024. |

Best OST Witch and the Beast
It has really good music. My favorite track from OST Are Elegant Gothic and Noob Demon and Dark Romance Those are just some of my favorites Go check out the sound track It's really good |
