RIP
Is esophageal cancer an occupational hazard for voice actors? I kind of remembered reading of some other VA not long ago, so I do a google search on VAs and esophageal cancer.. ..but instead of just one or two, what I got was a really long list of hits?

54 is definitely way too young to go. I say this as someone who'll be turning 54 exactly a week from today. Unfortunately, cancer doesn't care what your age is.

Yes, it is very hard for every person, I remember about another voice actor who survived this type of cancer but he can't tlk anymore and uses special progrrams to recreate his voice. I can't remember his name sadly.

I really liked his role as Ronja's father Mattis [I think the subtitles I watched called him Matthias though] in Ronja, the Robber's Daughter.
Rest in peace, Takaaki Seki. 54 is way too young to leave the living world.

Poor man. Way too young. Didn’t know about him till this report. That’s just tragic. RIP, sir.
